A non-refundable deposit of $250 per person is required to confirm a workshop booking. If your booking is made within 60 days of the start of your event, then the full amount for the event is due at the time of booking. 

Cancellations must be received in writing. Cancellations received more than 60 days prior to the start of the workshop are subject to the loss of a non-refundable $250 administrative fee. Cancellations made within 60 days of the start of the workshop result in forfeiture of the entire cost of the workshop, unless the scheduled event can be re-sold to another party. If the event is successfully re-sold, we will refund you the full amount, minus the $250 administrative fee. 

We reserve the right to adjust the itinerary for workshops and/or activities due to severe weather, natural disasters or external events outside of our control. 

Reservations must be guaranteed with a major credit card at the time of booking. Your card will not be charged prior to your arrival except in cases of non-cancellation. The credit card owner must be present at the time of check-in and be at least 21 years of age to occupy a guest room.

Cancellations must be received at least 48 hours prior to your arrival date. Failure to cancel prior to the required 48 hours will result in a penalty equal to the first night's room rate plus tax.

Painting workshops are highly social events, so we try to balance a level of ‘comfort and ease’ that supports generous interaction between fellow guests. Please check with us to see whether age restrictions might apply to your specific workshop.

For the comfort, safety, and health of other guests, pets are not permitted at Heartful Retreats or any off-site event coordinated by Heartful Retreats.

For the comfort and safety of other guests, firearms - permitted or otherwise, may not be brought  onto Heartful Retreats property.

We are a no smoking/no vaping property. A cleaning fee of $350 will be charged if smoke is detected in a guest room.

Heartful Retreats is intended as a place of respite, designed to be social, fun, and communal in nature. In that spirit, and per the discretion of Heartful Retreats staff, we reserve the right to address any conduct deemed detrimental to or incompatible with the interest, harmony, comfort or well-being of guests, or that results in any penalty to third-party operators we partner with.

During the workshop booking process, a photo release consent form will be presented to you. You have the option to agree or disagree with the use of images taken of you during the workshop for advertising or promotional purposes. If you grant this permission, you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free, irrevocable license to use such images for publicity and promotional purposes only.

We reserve the right to amend these policies at our discretion. Should an amendment occur between your booking and site arrival, we will notify you of changes via email.

Unexpected illness, family emergencies, and other unplanned situations can arise in life. For these reasons, we highly recommend trip insurance for any workshop event you book with us, and are happy to connect you with a reputable provider of trip insurance at the time of your reservation.

We contract with a network of companies, local agencies, and individuals to assist in the running of artist-led workshops and local activities as agent for these third parties.  Our partners are carefully vetted, but we cannot be held responsible for the acts and omissions of these third parties.To the fullest extent permitted by law:
1) liability for any loss, death, injury or damage which you may suffer (directly or indirectly) in connection with Heartful Retreats, or any breach of booking conditions that may apply, is excluded.
2) you release us, our officers, employees, agents and representatives from any liability and expressly waive any claims you may have against us concerning participation in a workshop. 
3) booking conditions and warranties which might be implied by law are excluded, and where an Implied Warranty cannot be excluded, our liability is limited to the following:  (i) the provision of a similar artist-led workshop adventure of equivalent value; or (ii) a refund of the total amount received by us from you in connection with your booking.
