"What a relaxing and enriching experience! Derek and Yvette are the ultimate hosts; gracious, genuine, and filled with the spirit of ubuntu. Heartful Retreats is a beautiful and welcoming place that invites guests to soak up nature and recharge their creativity. The spaces were thoughtfully prepared and generously supplied, capturing the poshness of a modern European manor and the warmth of a family home. It's ideally situated for a variety of day trips to small towns and great hiking. There was even a Ford dealer down the street that was able to repair my car in a timely fashion. Yvette is an incredibly talented, knowledgeable and helpful artist/teacher. Ultimately, my experience with the Winter Refresh Workshop left me with new friends, and feeling inspired and empowered to pursue more artistic endeavors."
