    This painting was created as a diptych composition, featuring two separate canvases, After the Rain I and After the Rain II. Each painting is a fully developed compositional idea in its own right and can be hung separately. When hung together, they describe a compounded compositional idea that extends the visual range of the image. The combined composition is intended to fill a 10 foot wide space whereas each independent canvas is 5 foot wide and 4 foot wide accordingly.
