Interested in trying your hand at painting or improving your current skills? A 75 minute guided lesson with Yvette will get you well on your way, and she even sticks around to help you through the process! Depending on where you are in your practice, Yvette crafts a lesson around what you already know. Fundamentals of composition and design, abstraction and an introduction to the science of acrylic art materials - all centered around playful learning in a relaxed, supportive environment. Whether your interest is in creating a 'take away' project or simply learning and practicing key skills, class time is flexible and relaxed by nature. Create your very own original work of art or simply practice techniques and processes that help you to explore ideas for expression. Great for couples and friend groups - this is not your typical 'Paint and Sip' afternoon - it's serious art-making in a non-judgmental setting. Artist & Professional Grade art materials, tools and art supplies all included. Bring your curiosity and willingness to play; Yvette will meet you with endless imagination, good humor, and a wealth of knowledge. Guests can enjoy open studio time until 10pm daily during overnight stays. This offer is intended as a bundled stay at Heartful Retreats and is only available to booked guests.
