“An absolute must! If you are visiting the area and looking for a place to stay... or even just a peaceful getaway with no itinerary or tourism in mind. This place is an oasis. Derek and Yvette are so welcoming and wonderful wonderful people. They have a little store inside the house where you can buy things like wine, art, socks, blankets, books.... that was WONDERFUL. We took art lessons from Yvette, read books from their library, sat outside each night with a fire in the fire pit, walked along their beach.... Each morning Yvette had a fabulously prepared breakfast! She is an excellent cook. And it was catered to each persons needs. I am strictly gluten free and she was very careful with that. Other guests were vegan, or dairy free, or nut free.... and she met all the requirements! She even made a gluten free, vegan banana bread from scratch! Each night like I said we would have the fire pit going (that Derek gets set up for you... complete with blankets!) and Yvette prepared for us the most amazing charcuterie board paired with truly enjoyable wine. The gardens are gorgeous.The rooms are high end wonderful. There are different choices in rooms at their home, and I would highly recommend one with a view. I'm not sure I could ever say enough good about there place. I hope someday we are able to return. It was truly wonderful. It is truly a place that love and passion abound.”
